Gaming Grounds is a game store in Kent, OH. Kickstarter is a website where you can put an idea up and offer rewards and people can pledge money to your cause. While used for many creative endeavors, the main projects I’ve pledged money towards is boardgames. One of the current games available to Kickstart is Fleet, a game that’s about controlling a fleet of fishing boats. This game looks really nice, and seems to have a simple resource management mechanism and a rather unique theme. Just got my Demo Copy of Oz Fluxx in the mail. Looks really cool and has a great theme to it. 25 promo cards to give out to everyone who I teach, a poster and teaching playmat, and a special coin for the official launch of the game on March 23rd. If you run a game store in Northeast Ohio or know of a store that wants someone to come by and teach games, hand out promos, and bring in business, please let me know!

Due to some differences in opinions about legal proceedings and how employees are compensated and treated, I will no longer be volunteering at Recess Games in Mentor, OH. I will keep this site posted with information as to where and when I will demo games from now on.
