Oh yes, there will be buttons…

It’s been decided that as well as the items made and displayed on the craft page that 1 inch buttons will be made and sold on the Etsy shop once everything is set up. Everything including getting the appropriate tax IDs registered, items made, and pictures taken. Some geeky example ideas so far for the 1 inch buttons: “Keep calm and…” Cthulhu related Pinterest pins with IDs Geek-Craft logos (of course) If you have any ideas for buttons you’d like to see, comment below or shoot me an email.

MiniPenCon

On May 5th and 6th, there’s a mini convention happening in Solon, Ohio. It’s going to be a small get together, 30-40 people, but it’s should be all kinds of fun and a great way to get the gaming convention season kicked off right. Origins is officially only 49 days away! I know that they don’t have their event schedule up yet, but anyone who’s gone before will know that this isn’t a new thing for them. Aside from gaming (yes, even I know there are other things in life), I’m looking forward to going to the North Market for at least a lunch or two, as...

I’m inspired by board games, video games, tv shows, and movies. If you have ideas for what I should make next, please leave some comments or contact me and I’ll take a look at your idea.

Build your fleet and master the high seas!

Kickstarter is a website where you can put an idea up and offer rewards and people can pledge money to your cause. While used for many creative endeavors, the main projects I’ve pledged money towards is boardgames. One of the current games available to Kickstart is Fleet, a game that’s about controlling a fleet of fishing boats. This game looks really nice, and seems to have a simple resource management mechanism and a rather unique theme. While I have other games that involve sailing boats and resource management, I don’t have any other games that involve fishing. It looks like...
