Ia! Ia! Cthulhu Fluxx!
For those that don’t know, Fluxx is a very simple card game with 4 kinds of cards: Goal, Action, New Rule, or Keeper Cards. During the game, each player will play card from their hand and try to win. The gameplay are simple: Follow the rules on the table, trying to get the right cards to match the current goal. Of course, those rules will change turn by turn, so it could be Draw 4, Play 2 one turn and then Draw 1, Play 3, First Play Random next turn. The button maker arrived and, as you can see, I’ve been a little busy making buttons inspired by comic books, Doctor Who, MineCraft, Star Trek, Looney Labs, Hell Boy, H. P. Pop Culture Club
Had a small game demo event with the Mayfield Heights High School Pop Culture Club. We did Oz Fluxx since we were in a library, Star Fluxx since there were some sci-fi fans there, and Zendo due to the group that showed. Going to go back and teach other games. If your a local club or group that would like me to come by and teach games, please let me know. I love teaching them and helping introduce people to hobby level gaming.
MiniPenCon
On May 5th and 6th, there’s a mini convention happening in Solon, Ohio. It’s going to be a small get together, 30-40 people, but it’s should be all kinds of fun and a great way to get the gaming convention season kicked off right. I plan on going and taking games to teach and play, and I’ll have some promo stuff to give away for everyone who comes and learns the games I bring along.
