There’s a lot going on next month, so I figure I should have some kind of announcement as to what’s actually going on to help everyone (including me) keep track. There are going to be the regular demos, but we also have some other fun things planned.
I’ll be at Great Lakes Game Emporium today from 1-4 showing off some Steve Jackson games, including Munchkin, Zombie Dice, and a personal favorite, Ninja Burger. If you have some time, come by the store, learn a game or two, and maybe even take home a free copy since the great guys at the store are going to give away at least one Munchkin base set!
Android: Netrunner was a huge hit at GenCon last year and has been a very popular game since then, but the large rulebook and number of cards can be a little intimidating. I’ll be teaching the game on Thursday at Great Lakes Game Emporium from 6-9 PM. Come by and learn the game!
I wanted to do something new with the website, so I contacted my friend Bryan Fischer about redoing the theme and helping me out. He agreed, and now the new look is active for the site. What do you think? All comments are welcome!
I can’t wait for this Sunday’s demos. I’ll be at Great Lakes Game Emporium (7249 N. Center Street, Mentor, OH 44060) from 1 PM to 4 PM showing off a variety of Mayfair Games. I’ll have a variety of great games that are easy to learn and fun to play with me, including Settlers of Catan, Pack & Stack, Elk Fest, and others. It seems February is going to be a month of gaming and demos, both at Gamers Haven and the new Great Lakes Game Emporium. If you’re in either area, please consider coming to one of the demo events.
