SolForge Fusion is a game of combining half-decks to create a playable deck against another player who has done the same. This removes the extensive deckbuilding from the game, as opposed to other games like Magic: The Gathering or Lorcana. This makes building decks faster, but does faster always mean better? Or does the faster deck building make this game lose its sol?
I really enjoy puzzle games and solo board games for similar reasons. It’s all about figuring out the best move and how to do better every time you fail. I was sent a code for Howl, a turn-based video game that feels like a board game. Let’s talk about the game play and if I wolfed it up.
I’ve had my Steam Deck since August of 2022 and I think it’s a wonderful piece of technology. However, they aren’t cheap and people have had a lot of questions. I know a bunch of things are already online along these lines, but I thought that the people who I know and who know me would appreciate a run through of my experiences.
