So I meant to have a post up here every night after the day’s events. However, when the hotel’s internet is flaky at best and coming back after talking and running around all day makes you want to just sleep, it becomes a little hard. Arrived in Columbus, OH yesterday for Origins Game Fair 2012. First thing on the list was to visit the Mayfair room and see some old friends: The next stop was event registration, where I saw tables with Mayfair games printed on them. The button maker arrived and, as you can see, I’ve been a little busy making buttons inspired by comic books, Doctor Who, MineCraft, Star Trek, Looney Labs, Hell Boy, H. P. With only one week to go, I’m more excited for Origins this year than ever. I already have plans to try some new games at the con, teach lots of games for Mayfair Games and Eagle & Gryphon Games, have some wonderful ice cream at the North Market, and just have a blast gaming with friends for five days. It’s been decided that as well as the items made and displayed on the craft page that 1 inch buttons will be made and sold on the Etsy shop once everything is set up. Everything including getting the appropriate tax IDs registered, items made, and pictures taken. Stratus Games is making a new party game about being a little bit crazy, or at least acting like it. In Off Your Rocker, you either play one of the patients with a strange quirk or the psychiatrist trying to figure out what the quirk is. They offered a preview to anyone who would review the game, and since I was already heading to MiniPenCon, I thought it could be a good chance to check the game out.
