Gen Con Post Impressions

Now that I’m back from Gen Con, I’m finding that it was a very hectic four days. Also, somewhere along the way my voice box decided to give up. But the important thing is that I had fun and got to check out some new games.

Gen Con Expectations

With Gen Con just a few days away, I’m looking forward to a few of the titles being released there. Games are ordered by publisher, and hopefully will be items I check out and probably bring home.

New Games, New Year, and News

Sorry for the lack of updates, but things have been keeping me rather busy as of late. Been playing a lot of games, working on game related projects, planning conventions, and helping out with some folks new to the hobby. Here’s an update so you know what I’ve been up to lately. New Games I’ve been doing a pretty good job of playing a lot of new games recently. I’ve hooked some coworkers on Android: Netrunner, which is a lot of fun but has quite the rulebook to get through. If a guy has a giant rocket to help people find his game, I think it deserves a look. When there’s a really fun backstory for a game, I know it’s something I need to see. I really enjoyed the way the game worked and Ben’s enthusiasm helped show...

We’re gonna need a bigger bag… 2

We’re gonna need a bigger bag…

So I am almot back to the non-convention mindset, feeling rather rested, and decided to see what all games did I actually bring back from GenCon. I know I got some in trades, got some with credit that I had with companies, got a review copy or two, and bought a few. Shouldn’t be too many, right? Right?
