Just one more game! – Dungeon Heroes Review

I was given the opportunity to check out a game before it hits Kickstarter by Patrick and Michael from Crash Games. They sent a bunch of prototype copies out simply asking for reviews. I’ve gotten to play the game a handful of times, with a few different people, and want to go over my thoughts on the game. At its heart, Dungeon Heroes is a casual and quick two player dungeon crawl game with asymmetrical goals. I got to meet Ben Rosset when I went to the World Boardgaming Championships this year. I had seen some talk about his game, Mars Needs Mechanics, but I didn’t get a chance to sit down and learn the game. I made sure that at GenCon, I’d give his game a shot. While at the World Boardgaming Championships, I got to try out Dice Hate Me Games’ newest Kickstarter project, The Great Heartland Hauling Co. by Jason Kotarski. I’m a Rocketman! – Alien Frontiers Review

    Alien Frontiers was put up on KickStarter back in 2010, and I had no idea the game even existed. Now it’s one of my favorite games to play. It has wonderful graphics, a great balance of luck and strategy, and keeps me coming back for more. I haven’t gotten to play it nearly as often as I’d like, but I feel that everyone should be aware of how good this game really is.
