I’ve set up personal gaming goals for a few years as a way to push myself to play more games. This hasn’t ever been a difficult thing, as I love trying new games. In 2018, I decided to change up the challenge. Instead of 100 new-to-me games, I’d break down a few different, smaller goals. How did they go? Let’s find out.
I’ve really been enjoying solitaire games lately, and I’ve always enjoyed the way that Button Shy Games creates big ideas in tiny packages. They create wallet games, usually just 18 cards, but the gameplay can be very impressive. Does Twin Stars meet expectations or does it end up in a black hole?
April was a busy month due to Unpub, the first convention of the year for us. On top of that, we’ve tried to play more new-to-us games, leading to 32 different games being played. It was a busy month, so let’s look back at April in review.
