Gaming in 2021 – Week 4: Numbers

This week includes Second Chance, 7 Wonders Duel, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Persona 5 Strikers. It all adds up.

Plays

Xate, Michael, and I finished the campaign for The Crew. It was nice getting to go through all 50 scenarios and give them all a shot. When I was doing more of The Crew in person, it was usually up to about mission 10 or 15 before we had to call it a night, then a different game would get played the next time.

I participated in Michael’s Friday night gaming where he did a slightly modified Second Chance. I do enjoy the game, even if I’m not great at it.

Acquisitions

My FLGS got a bunch of product in, so I picked up a few items. First are the character packs for Arkham LCG. I also picked up 7 Wonders Duel: Agora and a damaged copy of Expedition to Newdale. Now I just need to actually play a physical game – something I haven’t really done in ages.

Other

I’ve finished the story in Horizon Zero Dawn and I’m most of the way through The Frozen Wilds. I’ve picked Age of Calamity back up as well and at this point using Link with anything that restores health makes him just a killing machine. The gameplay is similar, but the overarching play is so different from Hyrule Warriors. I also preordered Persona 5 Strikers for the Switch, another game in the Dynasty Warriors design.
