2015 has been a heck of a year. Lots of new things, more of the regular good things, and some hiccups along the way. Time for a look back over the last twelve months.

It’s now December, and Twovember is now dead and gone. It kind of worked, it kind of didn’t. I want to talk about the good, the bad, and the plans for next year.
In the entire month of October, I played grand total of three games one time each. That’s it. It was a busy month, admittedly, but it’s a new day… er, month, so I figure why not change that pattern.
It’s been a while since I posted, and there are a few reasons for that. I’m not gone, still playing games when I can, but let’s talk about what I have been playing. Not full reviews, but a shotgun approach to talking about games.
I met Eduardo Baraf at Gen Con last year where we talked about Lift Off! Get me off this Planet! This year, he had something that was just as eye catching, but was a bit cuter. Let’s look at GemPacked Cards.
I’m not someone who really enjoys party games. I like rules, structure, and expected results. When you add bartering to a game, I tend to lose interest. But I’ll usually give them a shot, so let’s talk about Sheriff of Nottingham, a social game of legal and illegal goods, bartering, and broken promises.
