Trains, not Topiaries – Yardmaster Preview

Trains are a popular subject for many games. Ticket to Ride is a very popular game, and Station Master is a personal favorite. With so many train games on the market, it can be hard to stand out. Patrick Nickell of  Crash Games sent me a preview copy of Yardmaster, Steven Aramini’s first game so that I could see if this game can stand out in a crowd.

Council of Verona Review –

As much as I love long and intense games, I also really enjoy short games that are quick to learn and play. Patrick at Crash Games has a game on Kickstarter called Council of Verona. It’s based on Romeo and Juliet, and is the first in the Pub Series of games.

Patrick over at Crash Games has a new project on Kickstarter for Paradise Fallen. I was skeptical at first, with no reviews and no videos showing how the game works. However, Patrick sent me a prototype copy to try out and review.

Just one more game! – Dungeon Heroes Review

I was given the opportunity to check out a game before it hits Kickstarter by Patrick and Michael from Crash Games. They sent a bunch of prototype copies out simply asking for reviews. I’ve gotten to play the game a handful of times, with a few different people, and want to go over my thoughts on the game. At its heart, Dungeon Heroes is a casual and quick two player dungeon crawl game with asymmetrical goals. The Heroes Player (Let’s say that’s my girlfriend, so “she” for the rest of this review) is trying to find three of four treasures...
